NOTICE to anyone considering getting a residential solar system before the credits are gone...
Please take the time and check out any company that you are talking to. You can Google the name along with the word lawsuits and what their Better Business Bureau rating is. Another thing that is going on is that a competing company will try to jump in first to get a permit so that they can do the project . Taking a few extra minutes could save a lot of money and troubles. Also remember to have a roofing contractor check the roof before you do anything so you don't have to take the system down in a few years to repair the roof.
ZONING, BUILDING & OTHER PERMITS AND FEES
Anyone with plans to build or operate a business within the township must obtain a permit in accordance with the Zoning Regulations Of Jackson Township.

Variance and Special Use permits require a special meeting of the Zoning Board Of Appeals in order to review the application, listen to any concerns from the party wanting the permit and to hear concerns that adjoining neighbors or others might raise. These permits may actually cost more than the minimum listed above as the permit fees are applied to payment of public advertising of the meeting, reimbursement to the board members for their time, and any other costs that may be incurred by the township. While all attempts are made to keep information and prices current, both are subject to change without notice.
